Kyrgyzstan has paid Kazakhstan almost $4 million for the transit of electricity

Almaty. April 10. Silkroadnews - Nearly $4 million paid Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan for transit of electricity, reports KyrTAG.
" The KEGOC has a single tariff for the transit of energy - 0.6 cents per kWh and Kyrgyzstan pays it for the supply of imported electricity", - said First Deputy Director of JSC "NESK" Alexei Borodin on Friday.
According to him, multiplying the volume of imports by transit, we can calculate the amount of the payment.
Totally from December 1 to April 1 was imported 659 million kWh, which amounts to is $3 million 954 thousand.
