Bishkek. May 20. Silkroadnews – Kyrgyzstan has the second generation of people, who are living below the poverty line. Moreover, the people of that generation have absolutely no idea as to how to deal with it, as the Deputy PM of Social issues Elvira Sariyeva stated at the working session of the social policy committee.
The government intends to develop new program to fight poverty.
“The previous government was fighting poverty by paying various benefits. That kind of policy is not entirely efficient. The state can hardly solve the problems of the poor without having sufficient budget for it. That is why the government helps to develop a program that would particularly help poor to get themselves out of poverty”, Deputy PM Sariyeva said.
