Kyrgyzstan observes a decrease in birth rate

Beijing. Jul 10. Silkroadnews - A decrease in the birth rate is observed in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG) reports referring to the consultant of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Elena Bayalinova on Tuesday.
According to her, as of January 1, 2018, the average annual population in Kyrgyzstan was 6,193,400 people, with 31.8% population ages 0-14, 59.3% working-age population and 7.1% population above working-age. There is an insignificant decrease in the birth rate, Bayalinova commented.
Data by the department of population registration says, 155,036 babies were born last year, in 2016 there were 159,584 babies born.
