Kyrgyzstan offers to stiffen penalties for telephone terrorism

Almaty. February 16. Silkroadnews - The State Committee for National Security proposes to stiffen penalties for telephone terrorism, the deputy chairman of the SCNS Rustam Mamasadykov informed KyrTAG.
According to him, the agency is working over a bill providing for fines of up to 3 million som or imprisonment for up to 5 years for a false alarm.
The bill will soon be submitted to the Parliament.
R. Mamasadykov noted the necessity for such measures due to the increasing cases of telephone terrorism.
