Almaty. March 24. Silkroadnews - This May Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev plans to sign an agreement with the President of Tajikistan on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, KyrTAG reports.

“Discussion of delimitation and demarcation issues, for example, with Tajikistan go well. This May we plan to sign an agreement on the part of the borders with the honored Rahmon (President of Tajikistan - Silkroadnews). The rest issues, I believe, will be also solved in the coming years,” – Atambayev said.

Once again the head of the state emphasized there are some people trying to solve the border issues alone and
wishing to launch a war.

“Once I hand over the power (over the country - Silkroadnews), I will stay here. I am always ready to take responsibility for my work. But Kyrgyzstan is an independent country, it shall take its land and its facilities under one’s own control. Someone shall start this process, if not me, then who?”, - concluded A. Atambayev.
