Kyrgyzstan ratified an agreement with Romania on the visa-free regime for diplomatic passports holders

Almaty. May 26. Silkroadnews – President Almazbek Atambayev signed a law “On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Romania on visa-free regime for holders of diplomatic and official passports, signed in Bishkek on June 16, 2015,” KyrTAG informs.

The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan on April 14, 2016.

The agreement provides the exemption from the requirements for a visa for entry, exit, transit and stay on the other state’s territory within 90 days for a period of 180 days for holders of the valid diplomatic and official passports.
The agreement ratification will facilitate the mutual travels by the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and Romania holders of diplomatic and official passports and expand the bilateral legal framework between the two countries, which will contribute to the further development of political, economic and consular relations.

The Law shall come into force at the end of ten days after the publication date.
