Kyrgyzstan’s GDP growth amounted to 3.2% for 11 months

Almaty. December 13. Silkroadnews – In January-November 2016 Kyrgyzstan’s GDP grew by 3.2% compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 402.427 billion som, KyrTAG writes.

Not taking into account “Kumtor” enterprises the GDP volume amounted to 363.683 billion som, which is a 3.3% growth.

The growth of industrial products volume versus the same period of the last year has mainly been provided by 2.6% growth in precious metals production. Also industrial production growth has been recorded in mining of metal ores (2.3 times), production of refined petroleum products (by 31.5%) and food products (13.8%) sectors.

However, growth retardation is observed in the textile industry (17%), clothing (14.6%), other non-metallic mineral products (by 8.8%), electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (5.4%) fields.
