Kyrgyzstan’s National Bank conducted eighth intervention in currency market in a month

Almaty. November 23. Silkroadnews - Since the beginning of the month, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has entered the currency market for the eighth time to support the national currency rate, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG) reports with reference to the regulator’s site on Thursday.
This time, the National Bank sold $5 million on the market. Since the beginning of the month, the regulator has sold $38.15 million in the foreign exchange market.
Today, exchange offices and commercial banks buy the U.S. currency at 69.60 som and sell at 69.78 som. The nominal rate is set at $1 = 69.7 som.
