Kyrgyzstan's parliament has approved a package of bills to join the EAEC

Almaty. May 6. Silkroadnews - The Kyrgyz parliament on Thursday passed several bills necessary for the accession into the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC).
Decision of Deputies approved amendments and additions to the laws "On Precious Metals and Precious Stones" and "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" (in the law "On the organization of insurance", "On licensing system"), "On State regulation of foreign trade in the Kyrgyz Republic".
The adoption of these amendments is necessary to settle the legislation of Kyrgyzstan with the norms of the EAEC. All of the laws passed in the second and third readings.
Earlier this package of bills was removed from the agenda, but was returned by the Government's request.
Meanwhile, earlier it was reported that the members of the union will meet on May 7 in Moscow to discuss two controversial issues on the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the organization.
"Kyrgyzstan today is checking the readiness of the country from a technical point of view to join the EAEC. We have already started to buy equipment for the border crossing points. In parallel, we are continuing to refine the individual items of protocols that we intend to sign in Moscow on May 8 at a meeting with the heads of the EAEC", - said the head of department of foreign policy Sapar Isakov on Wednesday.
He noted that the Kyrgyz government is considering two crucial issues for the country to join the EAEC.
Kyrgyzstan will be represented by Deputy Minister Valery Dil, and Economy Minister Oleg Pankratov.
Recall, on May 8 in Moscow will host the meeting of the heads of the EAEC to discuss the organization and the abolition of customs borders with the Kyrgyz Republic.
