Kyrgyzstan's parliament has approved electronic visas introduction

Almaty. September 27. Silkroadnews – Committee on International Affairs, Defense and Security of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan approved the electronic visas issuance, KyrTAG reports.

«On September 27 Zhogorku Kenesh Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security approved the electronic visas introduction», the statement says.

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev said the electronic visa can be obtained by sending the necessary documents via Internet, without visiting the embassy. Visa-free regime is supported with 44 countries. The minister also added, after checking the data with the National Security Committee of the country the visa is expected to be issued within 1-2 hours.

The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also noted that the existing types of visas – work, investment, student, tourist – have been added with «family visa» without a right for exercise of profession.
