Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with the EEU states decreased by nearly 17% in 2016

Almaty. February 6. Silkroadnews – In 2016 Kyrgyzstan’s trade turnover with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) states decreased by nearly 17%, KyrTAG writes.

"Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover with the EEU states amounted to $1.743 million, i.e. a 16.7% reduction, including export decrease by 8.1% and imports decrease by 18.5%. With imports decreasing twice as much as a decline in exports, which is a good trend, as has a positive effect on trade balance”, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Oleg Pankratov said during a press conference on Monday.

He also added, this difference helps the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, thus, brings changes in volume of trade with the EEU.
