Latvian Minister of Defence offers Uzbek military to receive training in Latvian military schools

Tashkent. May 30. Silkroadnews – Latvian Minister of Defence offered Uzbek military an opportunity to receive training in Latvian military schools, as 12news.uz reports.
This offer came about at the meeting of Latvian Minister of Defence Raimonds Vejonis with his Uzbek counterpart General-Lieutenant Kabul Berdiyev.
Minister Vejonis particularly mentioned Baltic Defence College, Sapper School, and Plunger School.
The parties also discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation as well as regional security issues as they relate to situations in Ukraine and Afghanistan. They also expressed willingness to organise expert seminar on contemporary defence and security issues, as the publication reports.
