Li Keqiang said hard landing is the most dangerous risk for China

Almaty. March 15. Silkroadnews – According to the Premier of the State Council of the PRC Li Keqiang, the biggest risk for China is a hard landing, TASS reports.

“We are seeing growing uncertainties in the international political and economic landscape. These are the risks we need to address on the external front. As for China, lack of development will represent biggest risk for the country”, Li Keqiang said.

He noted that China will maintain a moderate growth rate.

“This will be our contribution to the world stability”, he concluded.

As noted in the article, China experiences a gradual slowdown in the national economy’s growth rates. In 2010 growth rate reached 10.4%, followed by 9.2% in 2011 and 7.8% in 2012. Summarizing the results of 2013 the growth rate of the Chinese economy decreased to 7.7%, in 2015 it reached 6.9% and last year 6.7% only.

The government’s target for 2017 GDP growth is 6.5%, the lowest since 1990.
