Locals clash with police in Tajik Autonomous Province of Gorno-Badakhshan

Almaty. May 21. Silkroadnews – Locals clashed with police in Tajik Autonomous Province of Gorno-Badakhshan as police officers were trying to arrest suspects in a crime.
“A group of local residents clashed with representatives of law enforcement bodies in the Gorno-Badakhan’s administrative centre, the town of Khorugh, today. The group of local residents were trying to protect their fellow residents. As a result, representatives of law enforcement bodies had to fire arms”, the message states.
One of the suspects was killed, another 3 local residents are wounded.
