“Made in Kyrgyzstan” brand should enter both the EEU and Europe markets, Kyrgyzstan’s prime minister said

Almaty. March 3. Silkroadnews – The “Made in Kyrgyzstan” brand should enter both the EEU and Europe markets, Kyrgyzstan’s prime minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov stated, KyrTAG writes.

“Working together we should proceed with further development of our state’s textile and garment industry. With the agreement on free trade coming into force between the EEU and Vietnam, there will be new opportunities for exports. The products under the brand “Made in Kyrgyzstan” should enter not only the markets of the EEU, but the European markets as well”, S. Jeenbekov said at the opening of the 11th international exhibition “Fashion Industry: Products and Equipment”.

The industry’s total output volume amounted to 5.2 billion som, which is 44.6 million som higher compared to 2015.

“The textile industry is one of the leading sectors in the economy of our country”, the Prime Minister said.

He also suggested, that such fairs and exhibitions will contribute to strengthening business contacts and opening new horizons for the garment industry.
