Meeting of the heads of the EEU member-countries will be held in Astana in May

Almaty. April 11. Silkroadnews – Meeting of the heads of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member-countries will be held in Astana in May, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan informs.

“During telephone conversation Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin discussed the issues of bilateral and regional cooperation, including the upcoming May meeting of the heads of the EEU member-states in Astana,” Akorda website reported.

The leaders also exchanged views on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh taking into account the preliminary contacts both the Russian and the Kazakhstani side have made with the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, and discussed the steps taken by the parties to resolve the conflict, the press-service of the president informs
