Meeting of the US-China Commission on Trade to be held on November 21-23

Almaty. November 11. Silkroadnews – The 27th session of the bilateral US-China Commission on Trade will be held on November 21-23 in Washington, TASS reports.

Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and US Trade Representative Michael Froman will co-chair the upcoming talks on behalf of the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack is also expected to take part in the coming meeting.

The Chinese delegation will be headed by Vice Premier Wang Yang.

The agenda for the meeting is not disclosed. The American side emphasizes only that having been established in 1983 the Commission is a “key forum for discussion of bilateral trade and investments issues” and expansion of economic relations between Beijing and Washington.

The previous meeting of the commission was held in China in November 2016.
