Almaty. July 2. Silkroadnews - MFA of RK intends to achive extradition of Kazakh diplomats convicted in Germany for cigarettes smuggling, reported KazTAG, citing the head of department Yerlan Idrisov.
"This is a rare fact. Their trial was held in Germany, and now they are serving imposed sentence there. But since we are talking about our citizens, we intend to bring them back to Kazakhstan, so that they were serving their sentences at the homeland ", - said Idrisov to Internet users during twitter broadcast on Wednesday.
As previously reported, the General Consul of Kazakhstan in Frankfurt am Main Ahat Alpysbayev and one of his employees were arrested in Germany in September 2013 on suspicion of smuggling cigarettes.
