Military Institute of South-East Kazakhstan teaches students from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan

Astana. March 17. Silkroadnews - Military Institute of Air Defence (South-East) of Kazakhstan in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty teaches students from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, reported the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"Today, the institute trains more than 400 students. Cadets learn the material part of planes and helicopters in specialized classes and acting in aeronautical engineering. Within the framework of the CSTO, Military Institute  trains cadets from Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan",- said in a press release from the Ministry of Defense on Tuesday.
As explained in the department, Military Institute of Air Defense in Aktobe - is the leading military educational institution of the country that prepares officers for aviation armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is noted that the main objectives of the Institute are training officers for the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan aviation in accordance with the requirements of the qualification characteristics, carrying out research aimed at the development of military theory, military problems, social sciences, weapons, aviation, military equipment, improve security and combat readiness of troops, improvement of the educational process.
The ministry informed that the air base is constantly updated with the Institute aircraft. At present, it has a Yak-18, L-39, Mi-8 MT. In the near future expected the arrival of new, more modern aircraft for training cadets.
According to the Ministry of Defence, in the years of its existence the Institute (formerly Aktyubinsk high flying school of civil aviation) prepared and issued more than 5 thousand specialists, including Kazakh cosmonaut Talgat Musabaev.
