Military strategy in Afghanistan must be changed, said Minister of Defence

Almaty. September 22. Silkroadnews - Afghanistan should amend the current strategy of war with anti-government forces, said Defense Minister Masoom Stanikzai, informed Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
The announcement was made during the visit of the of the minister to the province Kot, where currently undergo active stripping operation. The minister promised that the fighting will continue, and asked local residents to assist official authorities and law enforcement agencies.
M.Stanikzai also noted the importance of the activities of militias, with whom he urged to cooperate enforcers.
The head of the Defense Ministry blamed the sharp increase in the activity of armed opposition, including terror against the civilian population, for foreign intelligence.
