Almaty. May 14. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan and India signed a cooperation program for 2015-2017 years, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday.
"The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Aslov within his working visit to India met with Foreign Minister of India Sushma Swaraj. The sides signed a program of cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries for 2015-2017 years", - says the publication.
The sides positively assessed the current level of the Tajik-Indian relations and discussed topical issues of cooperation in various spheres, considered the security aspects of the bilateral and regional level, and touched upon the situation in Afghanistan.
The two sides exchanged views on cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the influential international and regional organizations, particularly the UN and the SCO.
On the same day the head of the Tajik Foreign Ministry held a meeting with a counselor on national security of India Ajit Dovalom.
