Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on cross-border cooperation

Dushanbe. September 8. Silkroadnews - Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement on cross-border cooperation, information exchange and international wanted lists, transmits the Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
"On September 4-6, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda headed the delegation in order to attend the next meeting of the Council of Ministers of Internal Affairs of the CIS Member States had an official visit to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan" - said in a statement on Monday.
During the visit to Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan, were held a bilateral meeting of Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Ramazon Rahimzoda with Kyrgyz counterpart Abdulda Suranchiev.
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation to combat crime, including terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, arms trafficking.
"At the end of the meeting the parties signed an agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, governing the cross-border cooperation, information exchange, inter-state investigation and other areas in the fight against crime", - said the law enforcement agency.
