Moldova signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union
Almaty. April 4. Silkroadnews – Moldova joined the memorandum on cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Russian mass media report.
The document recognizes the striving for “providing a basis for all-round cooperation of the parties, establishing a dialogue to ensure a mutually beneficial economic cooperation and facilitate the expansion and diversification of trade between the Union member states and the Republic of Moldova”.
The document determines the ways of cooperation development and the memorandum application order. The document also emphasizes that it “is not an international treaty and does not create for the parties concerned whatever rights and commitments governed by international law”.
Meanwhile, the ruling coalition of parties opposes. Speaking recently in Brussels, Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip said that the memorandum will not be ratified by the Moldovan parliament, and, thus, will not have a legal force.
