Almaty. November 3. Silkroadnews - According to a spot check of State Industrial and Commercial Administrative Management in China, only 58.7% of goods sold in 2014 in the framework of e-commerce, appeared authentic and meet state quality standards, reported China Internet Information Center.
Report on the implementation of the "Law of the PRC on the Protection of consumer rights and interests" on Monday, was submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (the highest legislative body of the country).
The report notes that due to the rapid development of e-commerce, dramatically increased the number of cases of violation of civil rights in the area of ​​online consumer. Last year, the industrial and commercial departments at various levels of the country received a total of 77.8 thousand complaints about shopping on the Internet, which is 356.6% more than the year before.
In recent years, e-commerce in China is developing quite rapidly. Online retail sales growing by about 40%. In 2014, this figure reached 2.8 trillion yuan ($442.3 billion).
The report proposes to accelerate the development of the law on e-commerce and to improve the mechanism for monitoring and control a new form of economic activity.
