Almaty. August 4. Silkroadnews – More than 60 thousand people were evacuated in China because of heavy rainfalls, Ukrainian Internet portal “Podrobnosti” reported.
According to the report, in the north-eastern province of Liaoning more than 60 thousand people were evacuated because of heavy rains.
The meteorologists forecast the heavy rainfalls not to stop throughout the province till evening of August 4. Local authorities announced the highest level of threat.
The heaviest rainfalls are forecasted for the districts of Jinzhou, Liaoning, Chaoyang, Huludao, Xinmin, Kangping, Faku, Anshan, Xiuyan, Guizhou and Changtu. In particular, the amount of precipitation in the city of Chaoyang is forecasted to reach 250-300 mm.
