Morning interbank fixing in London closed with gold price increase

Almaty. October 17. Silkroadnews – Gold Ounces’ price made $1252,7 as a result of the morning interbank fixing in London.
Regarding Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it increased by 0.95.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1139.581 (+3.368), and in British pound – 1029.594 (+4.411).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
