Morning interbank fixing in London closed with gold price increase

Almaty. January 9. Silkroadnews – Gold Ounces’ price made $1176.1 as a result of the morning interbank fixing in London.
Regarding Friday evening fixing in dollar terms it increased by 0.25.
The cost of gold ounce in euro made 1118.59 (+4.59), and in British pound – 968.75 (+14.67).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
