Regarding Monday evening fixing in dollar terms it increased by 1.05.
he cost of gold ounce in euro made 1119.17 (+1.19), and in British pound – 969.62 (+2.82).
The interbank gold fixing is carried out every trading day at 10.30 and 15.00 GMT. The fixing results are used as a guide to trade the gold futures around the world. 5 financial institutes physically participating in delivery of gold determine the price.
