National Bank of Tajikistan announces contest to design commemorative coin

Dushanbe. May 19. Silkroadnews –“National Bank of Tajikistan announces a contest among artists, painters and designers to design 4 types of commemorative coins”, the National Bank’s webpage informs.
The coins are to commemorate 600th anniversary of Tajik and Persian classic author and poet Abdurahmoni Jomi, 700th anniversary of XIV century philosopher and thinker Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadani, 20th anniversary of Tajik Constitution, and 90th anniversary of state capital, Dushanbe.
The contestants will have to design both sides of the coin and include certain required elements (emblems, portraits etc).
The results are to be announced on the 1st of June this year.
