NATO will train and consult Afghan security forces after 2014

Astana. September 5. Silkroadnews - North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has decided to provide support for training, advising the Afghan security forces, according to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The most important results of this meeting should include the NATO decision on support to the ANSF (Afghan National Security Forces) under the new non-combat NATO operations in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan after 2014. "Strong support", which will consist of training, counseling, material and technical assistance to Afghan security forces, will assume full responsibility for security in the country"- said in a statement on Friday.
It is reported that the NATO summit is held on September 4-5 in Newport (UK).
