Negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program between Iran and the United States started in Geneva

Almaty. August 7. Silkroadnews - Negotiations on Iran's nuclear program between Iran and the United States started in Geneva, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG).
Iranian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abbas Arakchi and Majit Takht Ravanchi. American side is led by Deputy Secretary of State William Burns and Wendy Sherman.
The main task of the Geneva meeting is a continuation of discussions and consultations on the existing differences and to study possible ways to harmonize them.
The Parties shall endeavor to turn an interim agreement reached in November last year, in full agreement. Iran requires the removal of the Western sanctions imposed earlier, while the West is seeking from Tehran more decisive steps to its nuclear program.
