New bill will be approved in Tajikistan to develop tourism infrastructure

Almaty. June 8. Silkroadnews – A draft law “On domestic tourism development” designed to open Tajikistan’s domestic tourism market opportunities has been prepared in the country, Tajik telegraph agency (TajikTA) reported on Wednesday.

“Tajikistan has prepared a draft law “On domestic tourism development” consisting of 11 chapters and 65 articles,” the Tajik parliament officials informed.

It was noted at the session of the working group of lower house of country’s parliament for the bill preparation that at present the tourist potential of Tajikistan remains uncalled. Approval of the bill “On domestic tourism development” shall serve to the development of tourism infrastructure, new funds inflow into the state budget, as well as new jobs creation.

The working group session was attended by representatives of ministries of justice, economic development, culture, committee of youth, tourism and sports under the government of the republic of Tajikistan and the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
