New governors have been appointed in five regions of Afghanistan

Beijing. February 19. Silkroadnews - The government of Afghanistan has appointed new governors in five provinces of the country, following recommendations by the Independent Directorate of Local Government (IDLG), the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
According to the IDLG statement, the new heads for the provinces of Wardak, Laghman, Logar, Kunduz and Samangan have been appointed with account of the Directorate’s recommendations and approved by the president’s office.
“Abdul Jabbar Naeemi has been appointed as the governor for northern Kunduz province, Asif Nang, who previously served as Farah governor has been appointed as the governor of eastern Laghman province. Anwar Khan Ishaqzai has been appointed as the governor of central Logar province, Dr. Shajehan of central Miadan Wardak province and Abdul Latif Ibrahimi of northern Samangan province,” Pajhwok Afghan News agency wrote.
