Nine people died as a result of two explosions in eastern Afghanistan

Almaty. August 11. Silkroadnews - As a result of two explosions in Ghazni province in eastern Afghanistan died nine people, reported Afghan News Agency (AfTAG).
According to local authorities, the first explosion claimed the lives of six police officers on their way to the checkpoint, previously attacked by Taliban. Three other civilians were blown up by a roadside bomb.
Radical Islamists, observers say, have intensified in connection with the withdrawal of the country's main contingent of international Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF), which is scheduled for the end of 2014.
According to the Ministry of Defence of Afghanistan, the last day in the country were killed 18 militants,0 injured 20 members of illegal armed groups, 22  were arrested. Loss of government forces in armed clashes amounted to four people. Special operations to eliminate militants are held in 11 provinces of the country.
