Obama called on the presidential candidates of Afghanistan to avoid hasty decisions

Almaty. July 9. Silkroadnews - U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday held telephone talks with each of the candidates for presidential post of Afghanistan - Abdullah Abdullah and Ghani Ahmadzai, said AfTAG.
U.S. President urged them not to take hasty decisions and wait until the investigation of violations of the electoral law, which may change the ratio of votes. U.S. leader said that attempts to resolve the political crisis by force, as well as other illegal means may deprive the country from the support of U.S.
Experts believe that the current situation could lead to a new civil war and total collapse of all the foundations of statehood.
The official election results will be announced on July 22.
