Obama is not to attend inauguration of new Ukrainian leader

London. June 3. Silkroadnews – US Vice President Joe Biden is the most senior US official to attend the inauguration ceremony of Petr Poroshenko in Ukraine. The ceremony is to take place on the 7th of June, as Russian BBC service informs.
“Joe Biden is to meet senior Ukrainian officials. The agenda of newly elected President and the situation in the Eastern Regions of the country are to be discussed”, the message states.
It is highlighted that economic issues along with US assistance to fight corruption and to “strengthen democratic institutions” in Ukraine are to be discussed during the visit.
As reported earlier, Obama is to meet newly elected Ukranian President during his visit to Poland on the 4th of June.
