Oil Refinery to be built in Tajikistan

Dushanbe. April 3. Sikroadnews – Tajik Government and Chinese “HELI” signed a contract on construction and subsequent exploitation of oil refinery at “Dangar” free economic zone, as the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management informs.
The initial capacity of the refinery is 500 tonnes of oil a year, with subsequent increase to 1.2 mln tonnes planned later.
The refinery will initially employ 200 with the subsequent increase to 500 people.
USD 300 mln is to be invested in the refinery project.
