On a monthly basis Kyrgyzstan’s budget loses up to 500 million som due to growth of unaccounted goods imported from the EEU countries
Almaty. May 16. Silkroadnews – Due to the growth of unaccounted goods imported from the EEU countries the budget of Kyrgyzstan loses 200-500 million som on a monthly basis, KyrTAG reports quoting Kyrgyzstan’s minister of economy Arzybek Kozhoshev saying.
“After joining the EEU the country experiences a strong growth of unaccounted goods. Due to this the country’s monthly budget loses make from 200 to 500 million som,” the minister said at the meeting of the Committee on budget and finance on Monday.
He also emphasized at present the country’s import is three times higher than exports.
“Thus, the volume of imports stands at $5.7 billion, while exports make $1.8 billion,” the minister added.
