Almaty. June 23. Silkroadnews - One of the streets of the capital of Ukraine on the initiative of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan will be renamed in honor of the writer Chingiz Aitmatov, reports KyrTAG.
According to the publication, the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klichko during a meeting with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ulugbek Chinalievym supported the initiative of the embassy and promised to raise the issue of renaming to the Permanent Commission on the city council government.
It is noted that the idea was supported by Ukrainian creative unions and individual artists.
