Only 12% of Kazakhstan population have positive attitude to interethnic marriages
Almaty. May 6. Silkroadnews – Only 12% of Kazakhstan population have a positive attitude to interethnic marriages, as Irina Chernyh, a Senior Researcher at Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies reports.
“Recent polls show that only 12% of Kazakhstan population have positive attitude to interethnic marriages, around 40% have a negative attitude to it, and slightly over 30% of population feel neutral about it”, she said at the round table on “Situation in interethnic sphere: present condition, trends and risks”.
