"Daily production in 12 countries of the cartel in July increased by 100.7 thousand barrels and amounted to 31.5 million barrels per day. Oil production rose mainly in Iraq, Angola, Saudi Arabia and Iran, despite the fact that the international oil embargo against the Islamic Republic has not yet been removed", - said in a statement.
It is noted that Iran has increased its daily production by 32.3 thousand barrels to 2.86 million barrels. This is the maximum value ​​of the Iranian oil production from June 2012, when the West imposed sanctions on the country because of its nuclear program.
Saudi Arabia also began to produce more oil, despite the fact that often reduces the production by the end of the summer season. In July, the production in Saudi Arabia amounted to 10.35 million barrels per day - 40 thousand barrels more than the previous month.
