Opened a first direct flight connecting Moscow and South-West China

Almaty. May 4. Silkroadnews - Chinese Sichuan Airlines has opened a flight Chengdu-Moscow, which is a first direct air route connecting Southwest China and the capital of the Russian Federation, reports the newspaper "People's Daily".
"The flight from Chengdu to Moscow is about 8 hours and 25 minutes. The new direct flight is operated by aircraft Airbus-A330 three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays", - says the publication.
As noted, due to the opening of a new air route between China and Moscow the flight time decreases by almost 5 hours.
Tourists from Moscow can via Chengdu, which has a 72-hour transit visa regime for foreign passengers, go to Melbourne, Phuket and Sanya, and Chinese passengers can fly via Moscow to northern and eastern Europe.
