Almaty. November 27. Silkroadnews - Over 60 documents to the amount exceeding $10 billion have been signed during Uzbek president Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s visit to South Korea, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
According to the article “Historical visit outlining new prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation” released on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the state visit of president Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Republic of Korea is considered to be productive. The parties discussed the issues of financing of large investment projects, further expansion of cooperation in the fields of economy, energy, finance, investments, high technologies, increase of mutual trade turnover, expansion of humanitarian ties, strengthening of cooperation between ministries and departments.
Reportedly, over 60 documents to the amount exceeding $10 billion in trade, economic, investment, financial and technical and other areas have been signed, of which $4.5 billion are direct investments.
“The agreements reached and documents signed will serve the consistent development of strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, further improving the welfare of our countries and peoples,” the report says.
