Almaty. October 24. Silkroadnews - In the next seven years it is planned to triple the volume of passenger traffic of JSC "International airport "Manas", reports KyrTAG referring to Prime Minister Joomart Otorbaev.
"The dynamics of the airline industry is positive, the annual growth rate is in the double-digit numbers. This year, another increase of 33% - this is, indeed, measure interest in this area. We have ambitious plans for the next 5-7 years to 3-fold increase in passenger traffic, which will increase the income of "Manas" to 3.4 billion soms per year "- said J.Otorbaev at the first investment hearings to create a transcontinental aviahaba based on the airport "Manas" on Friday.
It is also planned, to increase the volume of freight traffic up to 60 thousand tons per year, or 5 billion soms of income, he added.
Meanwhile, as noted J.Otorbaev "we have lack of the management and lack the financial resources to carry out these tasks".
According J.Otorbaev Kyrgyzstan has a liberal air legislation and favorable investment sphere. The Government is considering the introduction of a policy of  "open skies" and new measures to attract investors.
