Parade of Turkic Nations cancelled in NYC, as Turkey faces tragic events

Bishkek. May 20. Silkroadnews – Traditional Parade of Turkic Nations has been cancelled in New York City, as Turkey deals with a tragedy in Soma mine. This was reported by “Kyrgyz Club” association.
“The Parade of Turkic Nations was supposed to take place on the 17th of May in NYC. It was cancelled due the tragic events in Turkey. Over 200 people have died as a result of mine explosion in Turkish town of Soma, Manisa Province. As this tragedy happened, parade organisers have decided to cancel this traditional event this year”, the message states.
“Kyrgyz Club” sends its sincere condolences to the brotherly nation of Turkey and wishes fast recovery for the wounded.
