Participants of the G20 summit in Hangzhou adopted a final communiqué

Almaty. September 6. Silkroadnews – The G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China, has officially completed its work followed by a communiqué adopted by the heads of the member states, RBC writes.

According to the document, the summit participants agreed to develop an integrated scenario, aimed to ensure the sustainable balanced growth of the world economy. In this connection a package of policies and actions entitled «Hangzhou consensus» was adopted and includes four criteria: vision, integration, openness and inclusiveness.

The communiqué states the participants agreed to strengthen cooperation against corruption and called on all the members of the G20 to ratify the UN anti-corruption convention. The leaders of the G20 endorse the G20 principles on Cooperation on Persons Sought for Corruption and Asset Recovery and welcomed the Chinese initiative to establish in China a Research Center on International Cooperation for the study of this problem.

The G20 leaders reaffirmed the importance of energy collaboration and urged to phase-out inefficient fossil fuel subsidies.

It also follows from the communiqué that the G20 countries have extended their commitments to standstill and rollback of protectionist measures till the end of 2018.

The communique also points out the member states are ready to proactively address the potential economic and financial consequences stemming from the Brexit and hope to see the UK as a close partner of the EU.

Finally, the G20 leaders once again condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and reaffirmed their solidarity to fight against it and all the ways of its financing.
