Premieres of Kyrgyzstan and Russia assigned the departments responsible to work out a mechanism to provide the goods transit to the Kyrgyz Republic through the Russian Federation

Almaty. June 6. Silkroadnews – Heads of governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia assigned the departments responsible to develop the mechanism of goods transit through Russia to Kyrgyzstan, the prime minister Sooronbai Jeenbekov announced in the course of signing several agreements between the government of Kyrgyzstan and the government of the Russian Federation within the framework of the official visit of Russian prime minister Dmitry Medvedev, KyrTAG reports.

“We have discussed the important bilateral issues on the agenda, defined further plans. We agreed it is necessary to strengthen the economic and trade relations, taking into account Kyrgyzstan’s full membership in the EEU. We have also discussed the problematic issues to be addressed through the joint efforts, in particular, the relevant departments have been instructed to study the mechanism to organize the transit of goods designated for Kyrgyzstan through Russia,” he said.

The prime minister noted the competent authorities will study the issue of the social and legal status of migrant workers.

“I believe all the arrangements will be successfully implemented,” S. Jeenbekov said.
