President of Afghanistan to expand and strengthen ties with Uzbekistan

Almaty. November 9. Silkroadnews - President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani expressed his intention to expand and strengthen ties with Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
According to the Afghan president, profound language, religious and cultural affinity of two nations’ people is a solid foundation for further development and strengthening of friendly relations. Fortunately, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have taken great steps to expand and strengthen relationships for the benefit of their peoples. Recent visits by president and delegations to Uzbekistan serve a confirmation of the interest in the development of relations between two countries. Ashraf Ghani also expressed his gratitude to president of Uzbekistan and all brotherly Uzbek people for the support rendered over the years.
Afghanistan, he noted, intends to continue to work on joint projects to contribute to further rapprochement and economic development of two states.
