President of India will pay a state visit to China on May 24-27

Almaty. May 18. Silkroadnews – President of India Pranab Mukherjee will pay a state visit to China on May 24-27 on the invitation by the Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Chinese media sources inform.

The forthcoming visit of the president of India to China “will help to draw a line under the disagreements” in relations between two countries, mass-media reported.

Earlier, National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, Ajit Doval said “we hope the visit will help to draw a line under the existing controversies on the threshold of another two important visits coming later this year: visit by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to China for attending the G20 planned to be held in Hangzhou on September 4-5 and visit by the Chinese President Xi Jinping to India for attending BRICS summit being held in Goa on October 15-16”.
