President of Kyrgyzstan and Austria discussed bilateral cooperation

Almaty. March 24. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev during an official visit to Vienna, met with the Federal President of Austria Heinz Fischer, reported KyrTAG.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Austria in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Atambayev and H. Fischer discussed the situation in Central Asia and Ukraine, and also spoke about the main directions of further cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the European Union.
The Federal President of Austria noted the potential of the Kyrgyz-Austrian cooperation, in particular, plans for cooperation in the field of investment protection and law enforcement.
On the issue of Kyrgyzstan's entry into the Eurasian Economic Union, Heinz Fischer noted that this decision should have be made solely by Kyrgyzstan, and welcomed the further development of relations with the European Union.
